General Information

The Behavioral Finance Forum Second Annual Conference will be held March 27th & 28th, 2008 at The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables Florida. The Befi Conference is a two day symposium of leading industry and academic members from around the world to share ideas and present innovative research.

The conference begins on Wednesday, March 26 at 5:30 p.m. with a welcome reception and ends Friday, March 28th Noon. If you wish to extend your stay, our conference room rate is available to you three days before and three days after the conference based on room availability at the time of your request. The room rate is $349 per night, plus taxes.

Registration

Registration can be found under the Registration section, or you may call Ken Gilgen at (415) 992-1510. Please complete each page and all information required online. You will receive a tentative confirmation upon registering and we will send your final hotel confirmations approximately 2 weeks prior to the meeting. 



Conference Cost

The cost of your room and tax, all meals, transfers to and from the airport, and activities are paid for by BeFi.

Travel to the Conference

BeFi will arrange your airline reservations for you, please make sure to request this on Registration page. BeFi will cover the cost of your flight. Once you have registered for the conference, you will receive a proposed itinerary of your flights from Ken Gilgen that will be in accord with conference travel requirements and your requests. Please confirm these flights are acceptable within 24 hours of receiving the itinerary, as they will be automatically ticketed at that point.

If you require changes, please email Ken Gilgen at ken.gilgen@befi-forum.com. You will receive an immediate email confirmation and a paper confirmation of your air arrangements will be sent to you approximately 2 weeks prior to departure. Please make sure the name on your ticket matches your driver’s license or passport.

If you prefer to make your own flight arrangements, kindly email your flight itinerary to Conference Registration so we can arrange airport transfers for you
